Meet Maria Pokluda
Maria has helped thousands of families have happy birth days as a doula, childbirth educator and placenta encapsulator. Though it was her own journey through infertility that led her to birth work, she and her husband now have 4 children (yay for happy endings!). In 2012 Maria started Great Expectations Birth, a concierge doula agency serving expecting families in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex and is the co-founder of BEST Doula Training where she trains and mentors new doulas from across the globe. Maria loves to travel, read murder mysteries and drink Diet Coke - preferably all at the same time.
