World Breastfeeding Week 2022

Wow! My heart is so full....

Celebrating my 5th annual World Breastfeeding week as a photographer was more amazing than I ever could have imagined!!!

It was such an honor to partner with another DFW Birth Photographer (Sophia.Birth.Photography) this year to celebrate and capture TEN amazing women in their unique breastfeeding journeys! This year's event was free, we just asked that the mom's donate diapers for a Diaper Drive in support of Woman to Woman Pregnancy Resource Center.

What is World Breastfeeding Week?

World Breastfeeding Week is an annual celebration meant to protect, promote and support each role in breastfeeding. World Breastfeeding week is held from August 1st through the 7th in more than 120 countries.

Why I chose to support Woman to Woman PRC...

Woman to Woman is an organization that has been close to my heart for many years! I first interned with them in 2016 and have volunteered with them in many ways and roles throughout the years since then. I am MOST passionate about supporting their education services! They offer both group & individual parenting and birthing classes for parents walking through a pregnancy! They use diapers as part of the reward system for attending these classes or sessions. Parents receive a certain amount of free diapers per session and they can collect them all throughout their pregnancy and postpartum period.

So, as you can imagine these diapers are going to be a HUGE BLESSING!! (scroll to the very bottom to see the diapers!)
